Corporate social responsibility is an integral part of our corporate culture, our values, and our business strategy. To help non-profit organisations streamline their operations, we help with what we know best. We share our expertise and skills in training sessions that are free of charge for non-profit organisations and social enterprises.
Path towards sustainability
The Path towards Sustainability project is the flagship of KPMG Czech Republic's expert assistance. We provide our expert services - audit, tax, legal and advisory services - free of charge to non-profits and social enterprises. We help them to streamline their operations, minimise their administrative efforts and gain more space for their direct beneficial activities.
In the first phase of the project, our experts conduct courses for representatives of the non-profit sector on tax issues, audits of annual reports, customer relations, and personal data protection, etc.
In the second phase, the non-profits may apply for service grants, enter our mentoring programme, or select to apply for a year-long partnership. All opportunities will give them the chance to deepen the knowledge gained during the training courses.
For the systematic involvement of employees in social responsibility projects, we won first place in the Most Engaged Employees category in the TOP Responsible Company 2017 competition.
Our training courses for non-profit organisations:
- take place annually, from March to June
- are free-of-charge
- take place at KPMG Česká republika’s main office at Pobřežní 1a, Prague 8,
- are intended for non-profit representatives with at least a basic knowledge of the given issues.
More information on the individual courses can be found here.

ISAE 3402 issues: Professional training sessions led by experienced lecturer Radka Haluzíková, who manages to quickly and efficiently pass on a whole range of information in the area of ISAE 3402. Her exceptional identification with our requirements in the field of education is highly appreciated. Since the beginning of our cooperation, we have had no reasons whatsoever for any dissatisfaction. We are content with the course and the contents of the professional training, the selection of topics for individual groups of employees, practical examples and suitability for our company’s actual business activity, as well as the ability to promptly and flexibly adjust the topic according to real issues presented.
Advanced World Transport a.s., Tomáš Král
In brief: maximum satisfaction with both the scope and the presentation and all explanations.
Kooperativa pojišťovna, a.s., Vienna Insurance Group, Michal Novotný
Be an Insurance Company CEO for a Day: The game impressed with its quick presentation of results and a very entertaining drawing of market scenarios and disasters. Although the extent to which each “setting” affected market shares and costs was not very clear, this added an exciting element of surprise. Subsequently, after several interactions, the impact could be estimated.
PointPark Properties s.r.o., Lenka Mičianiková, Group Reporting Manager
The financial departments of the P3 Parks Group together participated in a one-day training course on current and deferred tax at the KPMG Business Institute. The focus of the course was to provide participants with an overview of typical items that influence an entity’s tax base, their effect on local deferred tax, and the effective use of tax rates to assess the accurate calculation of tax. Practical examples provided participants with the opportunity to test their newly-acquired understanding. Selected transaction types were then examined further in view of the different legislative approaches in the individual countries in which the P3 Parks Group is active. The expectation was that this training course would provide solid knowledge on deferred tax to the country representatives as well improve the quality of internal tax reporting processes. The training course certainly fulfilled our expectations.
